Spring Yard Clean-Up

The City offers a consolidated dumpster collection for spring yard cleanup each year. The Utah County Health Department also works with local waste districts to offer electronic and hazardous waste disposal. Scroll down for information on this program and other waste disposal options.    

Spring Yard Clean-Up

  • Typically in May
    • Monday - Friday 7 AM - 6 PM
    • Saturday 8 AM - 2 PM
    • Closed Sunday

Access to dumpsters will ONLY be available during operating hours. Barricades will be blocking the entrance when the facility is not open.

  • Located in the northernmost parking lot of Inlet Park
  • Follow the Route on the map below to enter and exit the dumpster site
  • This service is provided for bagged household items and/or green waste items ONLY
  • See below for a list of unacceptable items

Other Waste Disposal Resources

The following are links to assist in the disposal of items not accepted at the Spring Yard Clean-Up dumpsters.  You can always dispose of household hazardous materials at either county waste station.  FREE disposal is available for many items, such as paint, oil, gasoline, pesticides, and cleaners. 

Electronics waste and some other items have a fee. Electronic waste is often accepted for free in April. Click the following links for more information and when various free disposal programs are available.

Recycling 

Most Alpine District schools in the area have recycling dumpsters that can be used by residents to recycle large boxes and other items. 

  • Only collapsed boxes and paper are accepted in these dumpsters. 
  • Residents are not allowed to use the recycling dumpster at Riverview Elementary
