Fall Soccer League

League Details 2024


Registration for residents is April 15th through May 13th.  Registration for everyone is from May 14th through June 10th.

This program has limited capacity and may fill before the registration deadline!  Do not wait to register or we may not have room for your participant.  If the program fills up before the registration deadline you will have the option to be added to the wait list.  We will do everything we can to get everyone added to a team, but it will not be guaranteed.  

If you miss the registration deadline you will be placed on a wait list. If there is room on a team you will be contacted to sign up.  A $10 fee will apply to those coming off the wait list.

Resident Program Fee - $50

Non-resident Program Fee - $68

All players are required to have a Saratoga Springs jersey.  They are the same reversible jerseys we have used in past seasons of soccer and flag football.  New jerseys are $14.  If you have one that still works, you do not need to buy a new one.

Participants can also purchase blue shorts and/or blue socks.  These are optional and are not required to purchase during registration.  Shorts are $9 each and socks are $4 per pair.

Team Creation

Pre-K through 6th grade divisions will be placed on teams by school if possible.  If you would like your child to be on the same team as someone else, please make sure you request that during registration (not guaranteed).  Players are only allowed to request up to 2 teammates AND the requests must be head to head (meaning they have to request your participant too).  Coach requests are not allowed.  Some grade divisions may be combined if there are not enough participants signed up in a division.

For 7th-9th grade divisions, only one of two request options can be chosen:

Option #1: Participants can request ONE friend to play with on the same team (known as a Head to Head request). These Head to Head requests must match each other, AND registrations must be completed and done by the registration deadline. Head to Head requests are not guaranteed, but we will make our best effort to fulfill them.

Option #2: Participants that have someone willing to coach can fill out a Player Protection team form. Through filling out this form, a coach can protect seven players not including their child/participant. As long as those players listed on the Player Protection form have registered before the deadline they will be placed on that coaches team.

Season Start

The season starts August 10th. It is an 8 game season with 7 games on Saturdays and 1 weeknight game. All games will be at local parks. Practices will be up to the coach as to when and where.  

Depending on participation numbers we may partner with Lehi, American Fork, and Pleasant Grove to be able to run a recreational soccer program for grades 7th to 9th. Because we may be playing with other city recreational programs times and days of games may vary.


We offer soccer for Pre-K through 9th grade. In order to register for Pre-K, your child needs to turn 4 before the first game.


All players are required to have shin guards.  Cleats are recommended but not required.  Metal cleats are not allowed.  If not wearing cleats closed toe shoes are required.

Coaches will be provided 2 soccer balls, 8 to 10 cones, and a goalie penny if applicable to that age group.  This equipment must be returned to the Recreation Department once the season is complete.
