[ARCHIVED] Fly the Flag in Unity

American Flag Flying Proudly

Dear Saratoga Springs Residents & Businesses,

We understand that this is a challenging time for everyone in our City and abroad. To show our unity and solidarity with our neighbors, State, and Country, we encourage everyone to display the American flag, starting Monday, March 30th. We encourage you to display the flag each day until the Governor’s stay home directive is lifted.

Please use proper flag etiquette, such as shining a light on the flag, if left overnight. More guidelines for displaying the flag can be found at: https://www.va.gov/o…/publications/celebrate/flagdisplay.pdf

We believe that this simple act can help lift spirits and show that we are all in this together!

Sincerely,

Mayor Jim Miller
Council Member Michael McOmber
Council Member Stephen Willden

Council Member Ryan Poduska
Council Member Chris Carn
