City Council

Email Emma Wilson

Term: January 2026 - 2030

Emma and her family bought their first home in Saratoga Springs in 2021 and promptly fell in love with the city. They are huge fans of the great people and natural beauty that surrounds Saratoga Springs.

She grew up in suburbs south of Portland, Oregon, and moved to Provo in 2007 to attend Brigham Young University. She served as a volunteer representative on historic Temple Square, graduated cum laude from BYU, then worked for several years in Salt Lake City—leaving Utah to teach English in India, and later to work in the Bay Area. Emma and her husband returned to the Wasatch Front during the COVID-19 pandemic, ultimately settling in Saratoga Springs to raise their two little kids.

Professionally, Emma brings experience in operations and communications along with a passion for good governance. She spent a decade in writing and strategy roles for nonprofit and tech companies. Her last full-time role was on Meta’s Civic team, fostering civic engagement worldwide and meeting with local elected officials from all over the United States—an experience that left her deeply committed to civic education and her community. (Raising her kids here makes her all the more committed!)

Civics has always been important to Emma. She started registering her friends to vote her first month in college; spent years teaching volunteer citizenship classes for new Americans; and regularly attends civic, church, and community events. Emma has served as a delegate and in precinct leadership since moving to Saratoga Springs, and joined the Harvest Hills Master HOA Board in 2024.

Emma is grateful for the opportunity to lend her experiences, time, and efforts to building up our community as a member of City Council. She believes strongly in ethical governance, listening to residents, and supporting local businesses. Emma remains committed to working hard for responsible growth and a high quality of life for her neighbors here in Saratoga Springs—now and for generations to come.
