You must be approved by the court first
There are certain conditions to qualify for a plea in abeyance, they are:
- No previous violations in past 1 year on driving record
- Cannot involve an accident
- Can have only 1 traffic charge on ticket
- No faster than 20+ MPH over limit
- No School Zone violation
- Traffic school to be completed within 60 days of approval
If you believe you may be eligible, please contact the court to sign and accept the terms of the agreement in person at the courthouse.
Total Cost:
- Original court fine amount for citation per the Utah Fine and Bail Schedule.
- Traffic School fee due at registration for online class.
